FAQs

  • No, I am considered an “out of network provider”. If you have Out-Of-Network benefits, I am happy to provide an itemized receipt (or “superbill”) that you can submit to insurance for potential reimbursement. This means you pay for your session upfront and your insurance company may reimburse you for a portion of the cost.

I encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to understand your specific benefits. To check whether you have Out-of-Network Benefits, contact your insurance provider and ask the following questions:

    1. Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

    2. What percentage of the session cost is reimbursed?

    3. Do I have a deductible to meet before reimbursement kicks in? If so, what is the deductible amount?

  • $275 for sessions 45 minutes

    $325 for sessions 55-60 minutes

  • Trauma isn’t just about what happened to you—it’s about how your mind and body respond to distressing experiences.

If you struggle with persistent anxiety, emotional numbness, flashbacks, difficulty trusting others, or overwhelming guilt or shame, you may be carrying unresolved trauma. Other signs include feeling disconnected, easily triggered, or stuck in patterns of fear and self-protection.

Trauma affects everyone differently, but if past experiences continue to impact your daily life, relationships, or sense of safety, therapy can help.

  • No, I see a lot of people that do not have trauma.

  • Yes, there is plenty of research that shows EMDR is just as effective in a virtual or remote environment as it is for in-person sessions.

  • Under the No Surprises Act, you are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of what the charges might be for services provided to you.

It is not possible for a therapist to know, in advance, how many sessions may be necessary or appropriate for a given person upon the initiation of therapy. Your total cost of services will depend upon the number of sessions you attend, your individual circumstances, and the type and amount of services that are provided to you.

This estimate is not a contract and does not obligate you to obtain any services listed, nor does it include any services rendered to you that are not identified here. If you receive a bill at least $400 more than your GFE, you may dispute or appeal the bill.

  • During our consultation we will discuss what you are looking for and work together to determine the best course of treatment given your individual circumstances.

  • At this time, I only provide sessions virtually.
